Both are self-service, under Menu → My account, with no support ticket in
between.
Download your data
Request it under Request a copy of my data. You receive an email with a
link to a Markdown file containing what Matchely holds about you: profile,
matches, competitions, and history.
The link is valid for 24 hours and single-use — that is what stops it
from leaking along with your inbox. If it expires, just request another.
Delete your account
Also under My account. Deletion is confirmed through a link sent to your
email, valid for 24 hours, and is immediate and permanent — there is no
grace period.
What is erased
Your access, your photo, your contact details, your connections, and your
presence in search.
What stays, and why
The results of the matches and competitions you played continue to exist,
and your name stays on them.
This is not anonymization: the people who played with you keep seeing your
name on that result. Those records also belong to your opponents and to the
competitions where they happened — erasing them would change the standings
and history of other people, who asked for nothing.
Cancel any subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a
subscription bought through the App Store, Google Play, or the browser — the
charges continue.
Public profile
What shows of you outside the app is controlled by a single toggle. See
